Custom Boutiques

The client was on a very tight deadline, and we managed to get this project done from start to finish in about 2.5 weeks. It used to be an old mechanic’s shop and it was in need of some serious work to transform it into a women’s clothing boutique.

We epoxied the floor, cleaned out all the cobwebs and dust, removed wallpaper, built dressing rooms, fixed some water intrusion issues, removed a couple of walls, built new built-ins in the front of the shop, and painted the ceilings, walls, and trim.

We worked a lot of really late nights to meet this deadline and even got it done ahead of schedule. The client loved it, and the shop is very popular!

Below are more boutique and vanity projects we’ve been able to work on for happy clients. If you want our help with your boutique, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Mancave Creation

These are two of our favorite projects in the mancave-variety.

The first is a lounge we built for a client. We painted all the walls, trim, and wainscoting, installed new lighting, built a small bar, and then decorated it with a dart board and some wall memorabilia. He wanted a place where he could have a cigar and relax after a long day of work, and he really liked the design we put together.

The second project is a beer pong table/ping pong table that we built for a client. He is a huge tennis fan, so we built him a to scale replica tennis court complete with real astroturf, LED lighting that changes colors with music, and it is foldable for storage. This table was a huge hit and such a fun project to design and build out.

In the gallery below, this was an underground room stemming off of our client’s garage. As you can see, it started as a blank canvas, and we converted it to a mancave. We sealed all the walls and got the moisture levels down to a reasonable level, built a custom wine rack and custom steel platform that would support the wine rack and all the wine.

We also trimmed out the door with a wood veneer and then stained all the wood in the room. We also had to hide the sump pump discharge line within the wine rack and still make it accessible for maintenance. We refinished the railing and stair treads to make the entrance much more inviting.

Flooring

This was a garage update project. We did some:

  • Drywall repair on the ceiling and walls
  • Painted the walls
  • Painted the ceiling
  • Trim
  • Repaired some rotten baseboard by the garage door
  • Added a new rubber strip to prevent water from intruding into the garage
  • Put down an epoxy floor which turned out great!

The client called it his “Mona Lisa!”

In the pictures below, we replaced all the flooring in this 1,000- sq. ft. condo. The owner was planning on renting it out, but he wanted to fix it up first. We deep cleaned the entire house (bathroom, kitchen, walls, etc) and then replaced all the flooring with LVP. We also replaced the toilet, too.

Wall Designs

This client wanted more privacy from their neighbor, so we built them this wall. A granite countertop was later added but we installed the supports for the wall.

You can see the before and after photos. We built the wall, anchored it to the concrete patio, weatherproofed it, and then painted it to match the rest of the house.

In the gallery below, there was a tile backsplash we did for a local salon called Charles Proper. This was in their bar area, and they wanted to do something fun and unique in this space. This project took 2 days, and they were very happy!

Also in the gallery was an instant upgrade for my clients. They wanted to design a lounge space in their condo. They wanted to do a slat wall and try to keep the sound down for their neighbors.

We introduced them to these acoustic slat wall panels. They dampen sound and look great! Once they were glued and screwed to the wall, the room sounded much quieter and had so much instant character. The amazing thing is this entire room was done in 1 day!

Miscellaneous Projects

This is where you’ll find some of our recent projects that don’t fit into any one category. In the video, you’ll find a tiled wall with TV mounting followed by a wall that was cut out with an outlet installed to house the TV. Then we added ornate bezels to give the entire project some flourish.

Below, there are several projects that we’re proud to show off. The deck was stained to bring beauty back to the client’s property. The gates were custom projects to match the existing deck.

The golf mat was designed for a sporty client. The astroturf was placed in a custom frame that was nailed down by railroad spikes. The walls and ceiling of the coffered ceiling needed new paint and trim for that vibrancy.

We regularly build, install, and refinish furniture for our clients. If you have any handyman services that need done, don’t hesitate to give us a call today!
